Write to us first so we know the parcel is on its way. Then send the item within 14 days, with your order number enclosed, to Dansk Hjemmeproduktion, Holmevej 1, 7361 Ejstrupholm. You have a 2-year right of complaint under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven). If your complaint is justified, we cover your reasonable shipping costs.
Products and guidance
How should I store cultures and yeast?
How should I store cultures and yeast?
Starter cultures, mould cultures and dried yeast keep longest in the freezer and should be stored dry and dark. Always follow the best-before date on each pack. Buy small packs rather than large ones – the dose per batch is very small, and an opened pack loses strength over time.
Can I get spare parts for my equipment?
Can I get spare parts for my equipment?
Yes. We stock spare and wear parts for most of the equipment we sell – gaskets, rubber bladders, bungs, taps, press cloths and much more. If you can't find the part on the site, write to us with the model name and we'll find out whether it can be sourced.
Where can I find recipes and guides?
Where can I find recipes and guides?
You'll find our recipes and step-by-step guides under Recipes – from fresh-pressed apple juice and cheese making to beer brewing and fermentation. Not sure which equipment a particular project calls for? You're always welcome to call. We've used the gear ourselves.
