An earthenware frying pan, often referred to as a Römertopf, has been world-famous for decades, yet has remained young, and it is as relevant today as it will be tomorrow: because of its particularly gentle way of cooking and frying. The natural product is environmentally friendly and the food prepared in it is gentle on the stomach and full of juice, vitamins and minerals. Thanks to the gentle temperatures, almost no aromatic substances are lost. This is a new interpretation of a roasting pan with the classic look from Terrastone. Enjoy modern cuisine the easy way.
Whether it's solid, even food, delicious dishes from the Mediterranean cuisine or Asian specialties, and whether it's large or small roasts, soups, gratins, fish or vegetables: you'll find the right roasting pan for every occasion.

Enjoy the delicious dishes from the roasting pan with your family or friends.
History is revived
An earthenware roasting pan gives old cooking techniques new life and at the same time has "young" advantages.
Even the ancient Romans, the first gourmets of European culture, prepared unsurpassedly delicious dishes, boiled and fried in their own juices, more than 2,000 years ago. And already in the kitchen of the often quoted Lucullus (108 – 56 BC), food was prepared in clay molds. He realized the advantages of our predecessors' method. They already prepared their prey by wrapping it in clay and roasting it in hot ashes or over an open fire, without losing the aroma. And cooked in clay, it tastes just as delicious today as it did back then, simply great!
Practical helpers
The practical advantages are obvious: Juice and taste, all nutrients and vitamins are preserved. Nothing is poured out with excess liquid. The typical taste of each dish is as strong and distinctive as its aroma.
In this frying pan, they also save on fat. This fully meets the requirements of modern dietetics.
If you also have problems with your stomach, liver or gallbladder, or if you want to get or stay slim, you can make low-calorie, delicious food that is also gentle on the stomach.
Cooking and frying time is leisure time
Cooking and frying time is free time. Once the frying pan is in the oven, it does not need to be supervised. Because burning or boiling over are foreign words when cooking with this type of frying pan. And because there is nothing to splash or grease in the oven, it stays clean!
Exceeding the recommended oven time will not harm a dish cooked in one of these.
The clay mold is also nice to put on the table, so you can serve the dish directly from it. This saves time and effort.
Its advantages will be discovered during the course of "living together" with it: The wide base guarantees that it stands securely. The base and lid both have a wide rim, so that the lids sit securely and cannot slip off. The two to four millimeter wide gap between the base and the lid is not a defect, but regulates the pressure in the closed frying pan and allows excess steam to escape. The integrated handles are also practical; they make the roasting pan safe to hold and make it easy to remove the lid.
